Smaller tiki bar setups typically take around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Medium-sized setups usually take around 1 to 1.5 hours, with extra time allowed for installing the optional thatched roof and arranging the carved tiki sculpture heads. Larger multi-section bars may take longer depending on venue layout and access. If power is required for the LED feature lighting, we typically only need access to one standard socket.
Yes. Our tiki bar hire setups are perfectly suited to marquees, garden venues and outdoor spaces — in fact they shine outdoors. We simply require a reasonably level surface so the bar sections, sculptures and optional thatched roof can be assembled safely and securely.
As a guide, we recommend allowing one 2 metre bar section for every 40–60 guests expected to visit the bar. For cocktail service, it is best to allow one bar section per bartender to ensure tropical drinks can be prepared efficiently during busy periods.
We recommend booking as early as possible once your event date is confirmed. Peak dates, including summer weekends, garden party season and Hawaiian-themed event dates, can become fully booked well in advance, sometimes within just a few days.
